The Kingston Upon Hull Hockey Club
"The club is based at the KC Stadium and uses the two astro turf pitches located there."
Founded in September 2002, The Kingston upon Hull Hockey Club was formed from three well-established clubs – Hull (Welton) Men, Welton Ladies, and YPI Ladies, Men’s and Mixed.
The current club comprises of the following teams:
- The ladies club has 5 senior teams and a veteran's team (over 35’s).
- The 1st XI play in North Division 2 and the remaining 4 teams play in Divisions 1 to 3 of the Humberside League.
- The men’s club has 5 senior teams playing in leagues from Northern Premier to Yorkshire Div 9, an indoor squad in the National league and a veterans team (over 40’s), who won the EH National Plate Competition in season 2008/09.
- The junior section has 6 teams playing in the Yorkshire Youth League – girls teams at under 12 (two teams), under 14 and under 16, and a boys team at under 10 age group, although we can always look at other age groups if there is enough interest.
Many of our senior and junior players are selected for county representation and quite a few have been selected for national squads. New players are welcome for all senior and junior teams.
