International rock superstar Bryan Adams will perform his first UK date of 2004 live at the Kingston Communications Stadium, Hull on Saturday 26th June 2004.
Since launching his solo career in the early 80’s, Adams has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide, becoming a top global concert attraction.
The gravely voiced ‘Groover from Vancouver’ is one of the busiest singer-songwriters in the music industry and has just embarked on a mammoth world tour, which kicked off in the US on 8th March and will take in Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Denmark along the way.
Forty-four year-old Adams scored his first major UK hit with ‘Run to You’ in the mid-1980’s, and the flow of hits that followed, including the classic ‘Summer of ‘69’ - voted in the top 5 AOR/Rock songs of all time, established him as one of the most popular solo artists of the decade.
However, he may be best remembered for his 1991 contribution to the soundtrack of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, when ‘Everything I Do), I Do It For You’ sold over 3 million copies and topped the UK chart for an incredible 16 weeks.
In 2000 Adams released ‘The Best of Me’ to commemorate 22 years of song writing and performing.
