Great Britain v New Zealand

The Kingston Communications Stadium has been selected by the Rugby Football League to host the penultimate game of this year’s Gillette Tri-Nations Series.

The enormous success of last year’s test match at the KC Stadium between Great Britain and world-champions Australia – a 25,147 sell-out, was a huge factor in the RFL’s decision to again invite the £43.5m venue to stage another of its prestigious Rugby League test matches.

Great Britain will return to the KC on Saturday 20th November 2004, to take on New Zealand (kick-off 6.15pm) for the sixth game of the inaugural series.

The Tournament kicks-off six weeks earlier, with the first game between Australia and New Zealand being staged in the southern hemisphere on October 16th.  All subsequent matches will then take place in the UK, with the Loftus Road Stadium in London selected as the venue for the second meeting between the two nations seven days later.

Great Britain’s KC date with the Kiwis will be the penultimate game, ahead of the grand final, which will be held on the 27th November at the Elland Road Stadium in Leeds.

Supporters are advised to book their tickets early as demand is expected to be high in the build-up to the tournament.

To book tickets please call the KC Stadium Ticket Office or the RFL.
