Hull FC will kick off their Super League life in the new £43.5m Kingston Communications Stadium against London Broncos on Friday, 7th March.
It is a game Sky TV have snapped up as Hull, one of the founder members of the Rugby League in 1895, take on one of the games, newest clubs.
Although Hull might have hoped for a more attractive game, against the likes of Leeds, Wigan, Bradford or St. Helens, the clash is almost certain to be an exciting opener.
The Broncos have always been good value on their trips to Hull and only lost by four points in a 56-point thriller lasat April. They also beat Hull twice at Griffin Park, Brentford, last season - two defeats Hull will be desperately keen to gain revenge for.
It also gives Hull's new signing, former New Zealand skipper Richie Barnett, an early confrontation with his former club.
Barnett joins Hull next season after two years with the Broncos and he will undoubtedly relish this game.
