Hull High Fliers is Hull’s premier Trampoline Club. Celebrating its 25th birthday in 2007 the club is still going strong with satellite centres throughout the City. The Gemtec Arena is home to the trampoline Centre of Excellence where the High Fliers hold classes for both beginners up to National standard from aged 5 to adult. The club has tasted success at national level and have plenty of up and coming performers who have the talent to build on their success in the future.
The clubs policies and procedures have been inspected by British Gymnastics and proven to be a “safe, effective and child friendly” environment in which children can enjoy the sport. We have therefore been accredited with the Gym Mark and Club Mark award and have recently successfully passed a re-assessment. You can be quite confident that your child can enjoy their sport safely at the highest level that they can attain.
We aim to promote the development and awareness of Trampolining through the provision of quality conditions and opportunities, and through raising the standards of performance, coaching and officiating. Hull High Fliers has over thirty coaches ranging from Assistant coach up to High Performance Coach.
The club hold sessions at the following times, however, in order to keep numbers down to maintain the quality of the session they are run on a course basis and must be booked.
Wednesdays 6–7 pm & 7–8 pm Juniors 8–9pm Seniors
Saturdays 9–10 am 10–11am & 11–12 am Juniors
All sessions are small groups, led by qualified coaches and older members with sufficient experience are encouraged to go into coaching, a step made easier by the clubs director of Coaching being a British Gymnastics Trampoline Coach Tutor.
The club hosts many competitions and coaching courses throughout the year, with this years major event being the National Synchronised Championships and the Grade 2 National Finals on 24/25th November.
