Kingston upon Hull Basketball Club 'Stingers' 1961

Rising from the flames, or should that be ice, the now defunct Hull Icebergs Basketball Club have joined forces with the Kingston upon Hull Basketball Club 'Stingers' 1961.

The Stingers who have run a successful junior squad since 1961, have developed a conveyor belt of talented Basketball players throughout the decade.

The new Kingston upon Hull Basketball Club 'Stingers' 1961 are operating two squads at both senior and junior levels.

The seniors ( Old Icebergs ) are competing in the English Basketball League Division 2, with the juniors again competing in the very tough Northern conference.

Playing at the new state-of-the-art Gemtec Arena, with a capacity of 1,500 has the potential to be a hive of activity.
