In 1995 the Woodford Inline Hockey Club was founded by head coach Mark Haggar. In 2003 the Club moved part of its training and playing schedule into the Gemtec Arena and was renamed the Hull Hurricanes Inline Hockey Club. The Club is run by a dedicated group of qualified coaches whose mission is to promote the enjoyment of playing "Hockey" by developing the Inline Hockey skills of young people aged between 4 and 18 and those of senior and veteran players alike.
The Club trains twice a week: On Tuesday night 17:50 - 18:50 at the Gemtec Arena, this is an open age session for all abilities and on Friday night 17:00 - 20:00 at Woodford Leisure Centre.
17:00 - 18:00 Under 14's and Beginners
18:00 - 19:00 Under 16's
19:00 - 20:00 Under 18's, Seniors and Veterans
A limited supply of loan equipment is available at both venues.
Games are played on weekends at both venues.
