Championship boxing comes to the Sports Arena at West Park next month when Hull's very own current Commonwealth Kick Boxing Champion Mark Ellwood takes on Grimsby's Mike Duffield for the British Masters Title on 17th April 2003.
Duffield, who is the current Midlandıs Super Middleweight Champion, will surely prove the stiffest challenge yet for the undefeated Ellwood in this inaugural professional boxing show at the KC Stadium.
There will be five other bouts taking place on the evening featuring Sonny Pollard (Hull), Chris Hooper (Hull/Scarborough), Matty Teague (Hull/Grimsby), Tony Booth (Hull) and Jamie Waters (Hull/York) from the stable of fight promoter Steve Pollard.
Doors to the Arena will open at 6.30pm and the first fight will take place at 7.45pm.
