The Stadium Management Company has today announced another great sporting event which is being scheduled to take place at the Kingston Communications Stadium on 13th July 2003.
This is Yorkshire CCC vs. Rest of the World in a limited overs Cricket match in aid of Steve Oldham's Benefit year. The game will feature top test cricket stars from Yorkshire and all around the World and further details, including the format and players participating, will be announced in the coming weeks. The cricket match will be preceded by a benefit dinner on the evening of 12th July.
The SMC are also close to securing one of the biggest music stars in the world to perform at the KC Stadium on Saturday 19th July. This concert is certain to be a major sell-out and will be preceded on the Friday night by a separate event, featuring some of the top bands in the charts today.
Finally, the SMC is very close to securing a prestigious England Under 21 fixture for this summer. This will be an FA controlled event and the KC Stadium will be under the exclusive control and jurisdiction of the FA as at all England matches.
