Hull City AFC will once again tackle Premiership opposition during their pre-season build up with Leeds United and Middlesbrough both being confirmed as visitors to the Kingston Communications Stadium this summer.
We can exclusively confirm that the Tigers will play Middlesbrough on Saturday July 26th, kick-off 3.00pm, and Leeds on Friday 1st August, 7.45pm.
The club are also in talks with a third Premiership outfit about a third home friendly and details of that, plus confirmation of a date and opposition for Neil Mann's Testimonial, will be announced soon.
Many Tigers fans will remember Middlesbrough playing at Boothferry Park last pre-season when City gave as good as they got before eventually losing 1-0.
Boro's new £9m signing Massimo Maccarone was on duty that day and there's every chance that former Tiger and current Middlesbrough boss Steve McClaren (pictured above) will parade similar big name stars at the KC Stadium on July 26th.
The visit of White Rose rivals Leeds United should also capture the imagination of City supporters with the Tigers having not played the men from Elland Road for some time.
Indeed, the last time the two clubs clashed competitively was back in the 1989/90 season when Leeds completed a league double on their way to winning the old Division Two title.
Ticket details for both games to be announced at a later date.
