As the time draws nearer to the "Bubbly break" charity fun day, to be held at the Sports Arena in West Park on Monday 5th May, entries for the Kim fun run are coming in steadily and a tide of interest is being shown in this charity sports participation event for the National Asthma campaign.
The charity day organiser, Steve Anderson, owner of the Sports Arena's resident cafe/bar, the Recovery Room, said. "We hope the weather will be kind for us, as there are a lot of events going on that day. However, it won’t spoil things too much as many of the events are actually being held in the Sports Arena itself.”
Don't forget you can still enter the Kim fun run either by collecting an entry form from the Arena or just entering on the day of the event. The cost of entering is £2 and the run starts at 12.30pm.
