The Stadium Management Company (SMC) for the Kingston Communications Stadium is delighted to announce that the opposition for Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s summer 20/20 match at the KC Stadium will be the internationally renowned club, Lashings.
Each summer Lashings play a series of fixtures in the UK and will face Yorkshire CCC for Steve Oldham’s Testimonial match at the site of Hull’s old Cricket Circle on Sunday 13th July 2003 (2.30pm).
Adam Pearson, Chairman of SMC, said. “The Lashings club commands a high profile on the international cricket stage and includes a rich collection of internationally celebrated players.
”For this event they will field 11 cricketers from their pool of world-class players, which is guaranteed to include several of crickets living legends.”
Faces in the frame include Lashings Club Captain, Richie Richardson, former West Indies Club Captains, Brian Lara and Sir Viv Richards, Shoaib Akhtar, regarded as the fastest bowler in the world, and the legendary Allan Donald. (For detailed player information visit www.lashings.com).
Tickets are priced at £10 for Adults, £5 for Concessions and £20 for a Family Ticket (2 adults and 2 children) and will go on sale from the KC Stadium Ticket office later this month. Tickets can be purchased in person from the KC Ticket Office or by.
The event will be preceded the previous evening with a benefit dinner and auction, which will be held in the glass-fronted Circle Restaurant at the KC Stadium.
