The Elton John concert being staged at the Kingston Communications Stadium, Hull, on Saturday 19th July looks set to be a big hit with the music legend’s army of fans.
Over 8,000 tickets have been sold in the first six hours of sale to the delight of the Stadium Management Company Chairman Adam Pearson.
A number of corporate areas sold out within a few hours of going on sale and it is expected that only limited places will still be available by the close of play today.
Elton John fans have heeded the advice to book by either telephone or via the internet keeping queues to a minimum at the KC Stadium.
Pearson has urged fans to be patient and persevere with the ticket purchasing instructions on the official KC website (kcstadium.co.uk) and stated. “The response to tickets has been fantastic and I would like to thank everyone for their patience.
”There are still thousands of tickets available for various parts of the stadium and I strongly recommend that fans continue to book via the ticket order hotline and also the internet while we have tickets for other events such as the England Under 21 International match on sale.”
Tickets can also be purchased via www.ticketzone.co.uk.
