Girls Aloud and Triple 8 have been confirmed to perform at Foxy & Tom’s Big Bash, at the Kingston Communications Stadium, Hull, on Thursday 4th September.
Girls Aloud are the five sassy girls from ‘Popstars - the Rivals’, who shot straight to the much-coveted Christmas number one slot with their debut offering, Sound of the Underground. Their follow up single ‘No Good Advice’, was another chart-topper and established the girls as serious pop contenders.
With their first two singles ‘Knockout’ and ‘Give me a Reason’ both hitting the top 10, up and coming boy band Triple 8 are just starting on the road to success, and 2003 is tipped to be their year.
The two chart busting acts are just the first of a number of pop favourites lined-up to perform at the event, and their confirmation has been met with enthusiasm from Viking FM’s Foxy. “It’s really fantastic that these guys are coming to Hull. It’s the first time they have been to Hull and it’s great that Viking FM can bring them here.”
