This weekend, the Vulcan Arena, at the Kingston Communications Stadium, is offering fans who missed out on tickets for the Rugby League second test match, a way to ensure they don’t miss out on the action.
Great Britain’s clash against the all-conquering Kangaroos at the KC Stadium on Saturday 15th November is a complete sell-out, but fans are invited to the Vulcan Arena to watch the build up and to enjoy the full match live on the Arena’s giant screens.
Australia may have won the first test last weekend at the JJB Stadium in Wigan, but Great Britain – who were reduced to 12 men after just 12 seconds, came within touching distance of victory over the World Champions.
On the wrong end of a 22-18 scoreline, the Lions were glorious losers on that occasion, but with a full complement of players, will be determined to make amends this Saturday in what is sure to be another explosive and enthralling test match.
A KC Stadium spokesman said. “With the second test here at the KC Stadium a sell-out, this is a fantastic opportunity for Rugby fans to enjoy the atmosphere and build-up at the Vulcan Arena, in the shadow of where the big game is being held. The first test was a very exciting, hard-hitting game and I’m sure we’re in for more of the same on Saturday.”
Arena doors will open at 3.00pm, with kick-off at 6.15pm. Admission is free, and bars will be open throughout.
