24-11-2003 Yorkshire Elite Open Badminton Tournament
On Saturday and Sunday this weekend (29th & 30th November 2003), the Vulcan Arena provides a rare opportunity to watch top British Badminton players in action.
The events that are taking place over the weekend include:
This is one of only three tournaments that make up the Elite Circuit, the other two being Wimbledon and Burgess Hill (Sussex).
The list of participants competing in this tournament reads like a who's who of the best British Badminton players, and includes Ella Trip, Jo Wright, Elizabeth Cam, Stephen Foster and Paul Trueman to name but a few.
Play commences at 10.00am on both days and will finish at approximately 7.00pm on Saturday and at 4.00pm on Sunday.
Adult prices are £3 per day or £5 for the weekend.
Junior/OAP is £1.50 per day or £2.50 for the weekend.
Entry may be paid on the day.
