The Kingston Communications Stadium has been voted as the favourite away ground to visit in the Rugby Super League.
In an independent poll of fans in the Rugby League Express and Rugby Leaguer to find the fans' favourite away ground, the KC Stadium polled 16.37% of all votes, beating Leeds Rhinos' ground, which claimed 15.49% of votes, and Super League Champions Bradford Bulls' ground, which grabbed an 11.06% slice of the votes.
Attendance figures for Hull FC games in their first season at the KC Stadium rose by an amazing 67%, with average gates of just under 11,500. A significant percentage of this came from away supporters, who feel the KC is more 'away-fan friendly' than the Airlie Birds' former Boulevard home.
A spokesman for the KC Stadium said. "This is great news for the Stadium. We have a fabulous venue, and it's good to know that it is appreciated not only by Hull City and Hull FC fans, but also visitors to the Stadium."
