The Tigers will welcome Premiership side Tottenham Hotspur to the Kingston Communications Stadium on Saturday July 24th (kick-off 3.00pm) as part of the club's Centenary celebrations.
The visit of the North Londoners is just one of three major fixtures that have been confirmed for the summer.
Kevin Keegan will bring Manchester City to Hull on Wednesday 28th July (Kick-off 7.45pm) and Steve Bruce's Birmingham will follow suit on Saturday 31st July (kick-off 3.00pm).
All three clubs have been contracted to field a full first team, without exception, and Tigers Chairman Adam Pearson commented. "We are delighted that Tottenham Hotspur have accepted our invitation to be our opposition on the occasion of our Centenary game.
"The match will commemorate a very significant date in the history of Hull City Football Club. With the likes of Defoe, Keane, Kanoute and Postiga to name but a few, I am sure it will be a hugely entertaining game.
"There will of course be a full range of events around the game to ensure the whole day of our Centenary on the 24th is a fitting tribute to the club.
"The following fixtures against Manchester City and Birmingham will round off an extremely attractive programme of pre-season fixtures."
Tickets prices and details of hospitality packages for all three fixtures will be made available in the near future.
