Following from the success of last year’s inaugural event, international cricket will make a welcome return to the Kingston Communications Stadium this summer.
The full Yorkshire County Cricket squad will again take on the internationally renowned Lashings Club, which boasts some of the world’s top players, to celebrate Chris Silverwood’s Benefit Year.
The KC Stadium will host the evening match on Friday 9th July 2004 (7.00pm start), and a bumper crowd is expected for what should be another exciting sporting event at the Stadium.
Boasting a rich collection of international stars, including Brian Lara, Sir Viv Richards, Wasim Akram and Richie Richardson, the Lashings Club deservedly commands a high profile on the International cricket stage. And with Yorkshire winning the day after the two clubs previous encounter here at the KC Stadium, they’re sure to be seeking revenge on their return!
Tickets will be available from the KC Stadium ticket office in the near future, priced at £10 for Adults, £5 for concessions, or just £20 for a Family ticket, which will admit 2 Adults and 2 Children.
