Half-time at Hull City AFC's match against Chesterfield earlier this month saw two teams from Kingston Communications take to the pitch.
The teams were battling it out in the final of the Kingston Communications Centenary Cup, a five-a-side football Tournament to celebrate the Company's 100th birthday.
'Planning to Win' and 'United' took to the field for a eight minute head-to-head with the final result being a 2-1 victory by 'Planning to Win.'
The goal scorers on the day were Paul Stevenson and Jack Clement from Planning to Win, and Andy Taylor from United. The cup was presented to the winning team by Malcolm Fallen, Chief Executive of Kingston Communications and Tigers' Chairman Adam Pearson.
"We thought the crowd were fantastic and really entered into the spirit of the occasion," says Ivor Clement, team captain for Planning to Win. "The whole event was a thoroughly enjoyable experience - even for the older players - like myself! We really appreciated being able to get the opportunity to play at such a magnificent stadium and in front of a brilliant crowd."
Over 30 teams took part in the Centenary cup with employees from all over the country taking part in the qualifying rounds at the Vulcan Arena back in July.
