Brit Award nominees The Zutons have been confirmed as the main support act that will perform ahead of US supergroup R.E.M. at the Kingston Communications Stadium, Hull on Tuesday 5th July 2005.
Formed in 2002, the Liverpool 5 piece have been nominated for the British Breakthrough Act award at this years Brits following 12 months that have been nothing short of spectacular for the band.
Their debut album "Who Killed The Zutons?", which was released in April 2004, went into the top 10 in the album charts and narrowly missed out on claiming the coveted Mercury Music Prize. The band also enjoyed regular chart success with hits 'Pressure Point', 'You Will You Won't', 'Remember Me' and 'Don't Ever Think' establishing them as one of Britain's best new talents.
