A brand new Hull City AFC match day crèche facility will be up and running in time for the Tigers pre-season friendly against Hearts on Saturday 23rd July.
Run by Hull College in partnership with Hull City Council the West Park Childcare Centre and Crèche is situated within the KC Stadium complex. The service will be available between 2pm and 5.30pm on match days*, and is ideal for Hull City supporters with young children who want to support the Tigers but perhaps can‘t find a babysitter!
All places must be booked in advance and a drink/snack will be provided for each child during the period of their stay. The cost will be £10 per session per child and Hull City season ticket holders will receive a 10% discount, while a second child will also received a reduction of £1.
Childcare Development Manager, Sarah Turner, says: “This is a brand new initiative run in partnership with Hull City AFC which aims to attract regular visitors to the stadium and also offer support to those families who perhaps cannot attend as often as they would like due to childcare needs.
“The West Park Childcare Centre is easily accessible from the Walton Street Park and Ride. We are registered with Ofsted and care for children from the ages of 3 months to 6 years, all our staff are fully qualified and hold first aid and food hygiene certificates.”
For the new season, all children aged 16 and under will need to hold a match ticket to gain entry to Hull City matches, and therefore the crèche could provide a cost effective solution to supporters’ childcare needs.
Places are limited, so don‘t delay in booking! Anyone interested in using the brand new facilities can contact Sue - Crèche Manager
*Please note that the service will be in operation for Saturday fixtures only.
