03-11-2003 Free Girls Course a Success
Hull City Football in the Community held a free Soccer School for Girls at the Kingston Communications Stadium during this week's half-term break.
A total of 37 girls, aged between 7 and 14, attended the course and Suzanne Smith, the Coach in charge, commented. "The girls all had a great time. They worked on various football techniques and all progressed well during the three days of the course."
The course, which was funded by Nationwide as part of their Nationwide Supporters of Tomorrow Scheme, gave the girls who attended quality instruction from qualified coaches.
The course also included a free gift for every participant, a free Hull City match ticket and an attendance certificate.
A second 'Girls Play 4 Free' course will be held during the February half-term break from 16th - 18th February 2004.
