On behalf of the Stadium Management Company I would like to apologise for the last minute withdrawal of four or five key players from the Legends game at the KC Stadium yesterday.

A litany of eleventh hour transport and logistical reasons were given by the event agents (Pink Zinc Ltd) to excuse contracted players between 10.00am and 2.00pm on the Sunday morning.  This is quite clearly not an acceptable situation and we will be taking the strongest possible action with Pink Zinc whom we hold entirely responsible.

Once again the SMC would like to offer its sincere apologies for any disappointment caused and it will look to other sources for new events for the KC Stadium.
