"Hullywood 2" is set to strike back later this year at the Vulcan Arena, after the huge success of the first event, which took place in May.  It’s due to take place on Sunday 12th December, and special guests will be announced in due course.
 
The first Hullywood event was attended by Star Wars/Harry Potter and Willow Stars Warwick Davis and Peter Burroughs, with a special appearance by the legendary "Gran Tourino" from "Starskey & Hutch."  And of course not forgetting Star Wars & Star Trek costuming groups, the UK Garrison and Sisters of Duress, and over 100 dealer stalls selling all kinds of movie memorabilia, toys, props, models, comics, autographs and more.

To top it off, over £300 was raised on the day for the Hull & District branch of the Normandy Veterans Association.
 
Hullywood 2 is going to be similar to the original event, but with a few differences.  "It’s promised to be even bigger and better," said organiser Nick Andrew. "I'm in the process of negotiating a deal with a few people to bring some lifesize Movie Props to the event to put on show.  Fingers crossed I'll clinch a deal."
