Once again the KC Stadium, along with Hull City and Hull FC, has been reaching out to help and support the local community.
This week, as one of the many community activities to take place at the stadium, local school children have visited the Learning Zone as part of the Children’s University.
The Children’s University is a project that aims to raise children’s self-esteem, achievements and learning aspirations through the delivery of out of school hours literacy focused programmes.
Children from Sidmouth Primary School visited the stadium on Wednesday 5th April while pupils from St Nicholas Primary School followed on Thursday 6th April. Both worked on a module called ‘Behaviour at the Game’.
The Children’s University is just one of the many community events to take place at the stadium and in future weeks the venue will host the following:
Monday 24th April: East Riding County FA Senior Cup Final (kick-off 7pm).
Tuesday 25th April: Hull Schools Football Association Cup Finals (kick-off 5pm and 6.30pm).
Tuesday 30th May: Hull Schools Rugby League Cup Final (kick-off 4pm).
We will bring you more details on these forthcoming events in the near future.
