The Who Rock The KC Stadium

The Who produced a thrilling live performance to a joyous crowd at the KC Stadium on Saturday 26th May.

Having already been treated to sets by support acts Jackson Analogue and The Ordinary Boys, over 16,000 fans were left delighted by the legendary band’s two-hour performance of old classics as well as songs from latest album ‘Endless Wire’.

Including favourites such as ‘Can't Explain’, ‘Pinball Wizard’ and ‘My Generation’ in their set-list, the band, fronted by Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, drew loud applause from a grateful crowd throughout what was a memorable night.

The Who played:

‘I Can't Explain’
‘The Seeker’
‘Substitute’
‘Fragments’
‘Who Are You’
‘Behind Blue Eyes’
‘Relay’
‘Baba O'Riley’
‘Eminence Front’
‘A Man In The Purple Dress’
‘The Real Me’
‘You Better You Bet’
‘My Generation’
‘Cry If You Want’
‘Won't Get Fooled Again’
‘The Kids Are Alright’
‘Pinball Wizard’
‘Amazing Journey’
‘Sparks’
‘See Me Feel Me’
‘Tea And Theatre’

During the show, Daltrey talked fondly of the last time the mod band performed in Hull when they played at the Hull City Hall back in February 1970.

With a visually stunning stage set, The Who proved that after 40 years of touring they still have what it takes to entertain a crowd.
